However, for vehicles driven by diesel engines, since the engine uses compression ignition, the intake manifold cannot provide the same level of vacuum pressure, so a vacuum pump is needed to provide a vacuum source. In addition, engines designed to meet automobile emission environmental protection requirements also require vacuum pumps to provide sufficient vacuum sources to ensure the normal operation of the vehicle.
